My Horrible Encounter

Well, this morning was pretty bad. I went to walk my dog a little later than usual. So I run into this woman who's on a cane and supposedly 62 years old. She stops to tell me I should pick up my dogs poop. These were here exact words "I see you're out here in flip flops & all". What does that have to do with picking up poop? Then she says how the lady that was reading while she was walking almost stepped in some & how if everyone picks it up then it'll help. Then she says that she has freedom of speech, Which all made sense I guess because it starts by one person. On the other hand, was she referring to the fact that i was in flip flops I had nothing to do & no job? It really isn't any of her business but F.Y.I my husband is out on deployment fighting for you "freedom of speech". I pick it up sometimes, but not all the time so i guess i can start. Either way I feel really disrespected. Not the way you talk to someone or bring up an idea. If you want to get people to respect you back, then you should practice how you approach others.
