I have finally given in to the MUFE HD Foundation, after all of the raving reviews or youtube. Many of my favorite gurus swear by this foundation. So, I went by Sephora yesterday to get myself matched up. About 10 minutes later from walking out of the store & sitting in my car, I returned. I was not completely happy with my purchase & look. I had walked out with an application of the very same shade I had purchased, Which was 128. I'm not gonna lie, I LOVED THE FINISH. I felt the shade was too dark for me though. I knew this would happen because from the moment I looked at myself, I could a harsh line where the foundation ended at my chin. Not only that but my face was a lot darker then my neck, which happens to be one of my pet peeves.
I let the same associate that helped me last time, help this time again and the result was better but again not the right shade or even undertone in my opinion. Needless to say, I am going back and trying about two previous shades of 125, which is the one I returned it for the second attempt. I really wanted to like this foundation but the difficulty finding a right shade, has really thrown me off. Again, I loved the finish of it because my skin was left very dewy. Also, the price tag is making me think if it is really worth all this trouble. I just might stick to my MAC Studio Sculpt in NC30 & call it a day. I guess I will let you know if I find the shade destined for me.
