Christmas Gratitude

So, as 2013 draws to an end, I cannot help but reminisce on all of the events that took place this year. It has been an interesting you to say the least. I managed to juggle my home, being a mother, a wife, and full-time student. No doubt about it, that I owe it all to Jesus, because I wouldn't have been able to do it without Him. Yes, it's the holidays and i'm feeling emotional. Definitely the good kind though. Just wanting to thank God at this moment, for everything he has given me, this year in particular. All the good stuff and especially for allowing the bad, because without it, I definitely wouldn't be where I am at this moment. I feel in the bad moments I have been able to grow most and I think back of all the messages I had a privilege of listening too. They all somehow were in preparation for the now and my current season of life. Thankful for my wonderful husband, son, & family. God really is good!

My first session took place on Monday, December 9th, at 4 o'clock. I met up with the family at Fort Zachary State Park. It was such a lovely day and I can truly say I had a blast. They were great and very photogenic. This has truly opened the door and I'm looking forward with great hope & expectations.

Well, a year or so later and lots has changed. My make-up addiction and obsession has landed itself on the back burner these days. I have become a mommy :). My little guy was born May 13, 2012 and his name is Maddox Gabriel. Life is so different now, but good different. Instead of spending hours on the MAC Cosmetics site and watching make-up tutorials on YouTube, I spend only minutes of my free time baby stuff shopping haha. The rest of my wakeful hours I use towards making snacks, playing tickle monster, and loving my little one. I'm also going to school full-time over the internet. My days and nights are pretty long, but I'm truly happier than I've every been. We've also moved and have been stationed in Key West for almost 2 years already. So much has happened and so many pictures have been taken. Im hoping to share more of my memories in posts to come!
